A gang headed by a trickster known as dirtyhands, can he able to pull out this time. Six of Crows is highly character developed universe, with strong characteristics and features of it’s own and with extremely gorgeous universe. The book is my first from Grishaverse and also made me beg for more from Leigh Bardugo.

This is my take on every Protagonist.

Kaz Brekker

A kid with a dreadful past,

 Who seeks revenge for all he lost,

Known as dirtyhands in the barrel,

He can pick your lock before you can even quarrel,

A boy who can manipulates minds and walks viciously from the crime scene, hailing from kerch what brings him to the streets of Ketterdam?

Kaz has a reputation in dregs, being an unparalleled second in command in the gang, his most trustworthy left and right hands are Jesper and Inej.

Once you throw a good amount of money at Kaz he will definitely do that work for you, regardless how much it will cost him, even if it cost his own life he will take that risk, he always keeps few tricks hidden inside his sleeves. He hasn’t learned how to fight, he is street smart, quick and agile, he used a cane to walk and fight as well, wears gloves, he dressed like a businessman, ruthless and merciless but man of words.

“A liar, a thief, and utterly without conscience. But he’ll keep to any deal you strike with him.”

You can’t keep yourself save from Kaz, he will definitely find you and destroy you brick by brick to an extent in which you will beg to him for death rather than mercy.

Inej Ghafa

Have you seen Ghosts in real life?

There has been a rumor in Ketterdam streets,

That wraths can travel through walls,

Or maybe I am making my own stories.

Trust can leave Kaz, But Inej won’t. A Suli girl, hailing from the family of Acrobats what pulled her inside the dregs. Is it just a sound nap, which brought her inside the pleasure house of Ketterdam or her destiny to become “Wraith”.

“One minute he made her blush and the next he made her want to commit murder.”

She is person having high moral values, deeply inspired by her father, who has shared Suli moral values to his daughter. She can inspire herself and brings her mojo back regardless how fragile the situation is.

Kaz freed her and offered made her his informer, she knew she is doing the wrong things, even murders for Kaz, is it just the price she was freed for or she is doing more on her own self, is it something unspoken between Kaz & Inej.

Inej has saved Kaz’s life for uncountable times, does Kaz feels that too?  

Jesper Fahey

Jesper a light hearted gambler who can change his mind before you even realize.  His past is dreadful, which explains even having powers doesn’t makes you immortal, as instructed by his father he doesn’t loaf as Grisha himself, rather than he uses his others skills more to hide himself as Fabrikator. He is great at gambling, shooting.

He joined dregs to pay of his debts in gambling, before that his life was simple as a farmer , but after his mother died. His whole life become upside down.

He likes Wylan and even protective towards him, but mostly tries to annoy him in a friendly manner.

“Fine. But if Pekka Rollins kills us all, I’m going to get Wylan’s ghost to teach my ghost to play the flute just so that I can annoy the hell out of your ghost.”

Nina Zenik

“Let’s face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me.”

And that’s Nina Zenik, an extremely talented Grisha who wants to join the second army. Her priorities were always high, she always went ahead towards her duties even if she gets hurts. She is loyal, sometimes loud and mostly hilarious.

She wants every Grisha should join the second army and felt horrified to know about the drug. Inspired mostly by Zoya( another Grisha) to battle till death.

“Do you have a different name for killing when you wear a uniform to do it?”

Her Relationship with Helvar, has lots of ups and down. But she knew what was done, a true solider must have.

Matthias Helvar

The eldest person in the group, Helvar is a true Drüskelle warrior, until he was captured and kept as a prisoner until he was freed by Crows.

Smart in nature, muscular, but his heart always hums for Nina. Even though he completely hates her, but his heart always says otherwise. He is blonde, muscular, tall and have a good jaw line. Jaw Line that’s not important.

He is warrior in nature, he values humanity more than anything in life. He has a former training as a solider in fighting, as he was rescued by Kaz he doesn’t have much option to do other things rather than eventually joining the group.

“Trickery is not my native tongue, but I may learn to speak it yet.”

He doesn’t believes in trickery his priorities are high, even if death approaches he would accept live a warrior and would rather like one.

Wylan Van Eck

“Music, Numbers, Equations. They’re not like words. They… they don’t get mixed up.”

Youngest in the group Wylan, is the only person whose can be considered as an innocent in the group. Wylan can tell us that luxury doesn’t provide a better life. Wylan is the only legal heir of Van Eck. He can’t read or write as he was suffering from dyslexia but he is extremely proficient in art and music.

As he was the son of Van Eck, Kaz brought him inside the group as bait against his own father for final transaction if anything goes out of hands.

He runs from his home as he was suffering in that place which he called home. He is soft spoken and would only speaks if you ask him something, apart from that he case in handy for drawing maps and partnered with Jesper inside Ice court during the Heist.
