Sometimes it’s easier to forgive a stranger, but hard to forgive a person you know.
Recently, I came across this book “Indestructible: The Hidden Gifts of Trauma” an auto-biography from Krista Nerestant in which she tells about her dreadful past.
Her father is an Alcoholic and use to abuse her mother along with her younger siblings, the book starts when Krista’s Dad burned her hands and she received that blow at the age of 9. The book deals with her painful upbringing, childhood, her relationship with her siblings and parents.
Her life took a drastic turn when she arrived in the USA, she didn’t expect the harsh reality. When she was younger, she can sense emotions around herself, later she realizes that she is an empath.
This book teaches us that how hard a situation could be it can change for good, Keep your first foot forward and you can definitely deal with trauma, pain, anxiety, or any harsh reality of life
